Join us from Good Friday up until April 15th for an Easter Bunny hunt with a difference! Bunnies are hiding throughout our grounds but you’ll need to navigate to them using a compass (which we provide).
On Tuesday 3rd April we are running Easter Crafts FREE from 11am till 2pm. Just drop and and get creative.
On Wednesday 4th Apr at 10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm, try something a ittle different ! Join us for some more exciting Bushcraft activities at the FSC and in the woodland.
From Monday 9th till Wed 11th April 10am-4pm. We are having our first ever holiday day camp for kids between 8 and 12 who have a passion for wildlife and enjoy spending time outdoors. Using all of our 30 acre site and neighbouring woodland, children will be able to run off some steam and to learn more about the world around them, as well as picking up some cool new skills. Each day will be packed with a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities including pond dipping, habitat building, butterfly hunts, animal tracking, bat box building, den building, wild art and Bushcraft. Don’t forget to bring a packed lunch, waterproof coat, wellies and a spare set of clothes just in case.
To finish off a great Easter Holiday we have another first! Tue 10th & Thurs 12th April, from 10am-4pm our new temporary exhibition and learning space in the museum springs into life with our first ever Life Lab drop in events. Come and try your hand at being a naturalist by examining some of the specimens from our learning collection. Use a range of tools to find out about the animals in front of you including microscopes, measuring equipment and fact files. Suitable for all ages.
