Easter is just around the corner as we have plenty going on in Selborne.
On the 8th April grab your wellies and join us for a walk! At 11am and 1pm we will be going on family friendly sensory walk through our grounds to explore the changing seasons. Also from the 8th we will running our Bunny Orienteering Trail, bunnies are hiding throughout our garden but to find them you’ll need to navigate to them using a compass. This trail will be running until the 23rd April.
On Tuesday 11th April join us for some Easter Crafts in the house this free drop in session is suitable for all ages and available between 11am-2pm. Other drop in activities include our Crazy Quagga Days which are on the 18th and 20th April. Find out about these strange animals and create your own crazy creature.
On the 12th April we will be going River Dipping. Grab a net and an identification sheet and get ready to explore the wildlife in our local river; or why not go Bug Hunting? Venture out into the meadow and woodland to see what invertebrates we can discover and take a look at them through a microscope. Then make a bug hotel for the insects in your garden. These activities are £6 per child with an accompanying adult going free. The morning sessions 11am-1pm for 5 to 9 year old and the afternoon session 2pm-4pm for 10+ years.
The house and gardens will be open throughout the Easter period, why not come along and enjoy our beautiful spring gardens and new Inspired by the Word exhibition which opens on Good Friday.
