Apple Blossom Time: Watercolour Workshop

Monday 1st May, 12 – 4pm, Field Studies Centre

Join local artist Julia Morgan and discover the beauty of apple blossom in Gilbert White’s Garden. Enjoy an inspiring afternoon learning how to capture the delightful delicacy of apple blossom in watercolour using a variety of shaded colour mixing techniques. Experiment with ‘wet in wet’ brushwork to creative imaginative backgrounds to compliment the blossom flowers.

Take direct inspiration from the beautiful blossom growing in our gardens during the height of Spring. A perfect workshop for a beginner who wants to learn new watercolour painting skills or an intermediate painter!

Tickets are £55 per person

Ticket price includes all materials, tea, coffee and cake, and admission to the gardens. If weather is nice we may head outside to gain inspiration, so wear sturdy footwear and clothing.
