Free Wellbeing Workshop for Teachers

Set yourself up for the summer break

Monday 17 July 2023

4.30 – 6.30 pm, please arrive at 4.20 pm

Gilbert White’s Field Studies Centre, Selborne, Alton, Hampshire GU34 3JH

As the end of term approaches, this free of charge interactive outdoor workshop offers teachers time to focus on their wellbeing.

In the beautiful setting of the Field Studies Centre, you will be offered space to reflect on the past year, think about your wellbeing and explore ways to enhance it.

After complementary welcome refreshments, you will be guided through a series of fun and thought-provoking activities to help release stress and set yourself up for the summer break. You will have the opportunity to set small achievable goals which place your wellbeing firmly centre stage, ready to return in September rejuvenated.

All attendees should approach the workshop with the mindset that anything discussed will be treated in confidence.

This workshop will be led by Sally Thomas. Following a career in Human Resource Management, Sally retrained as a counsellor and has spent the last 12 years counselling in the education and health sectors, a children’s hospice and in private practice. She has a passion for working with nature to enhance our emotional wellbeing. She enjoys leading wellbeing walks and exploring ways to reduce stress and strengthen our emotional resilience.

Come dressed appropriately for the weather conditions; we will be working outside and will be doing some walking. Bring a notebook and pen. Additional information will be provided nearer the time.

Places are limited to 20, so please book in advance. Individuals must book their own tickets. You will be required to give your school email to register for this event.
