We Love Volunteers Day

11am-2pm

We love our Volunteers!

This Valentine’s Day join us at the FSC and find out more about the opportunities at Gilbert White’s House and Gardens! No matter what your interest we are sure to find a great fit!

It’s also a chance to meet our current volunteers and hear first hand what it’s like to volunteer at the museum!

Some areas you might be interested in…

Garden: A popular department to volunteer with! Whether you are serious gardener or simply want to get some fresh air and get fit we can find a job that suits you.
Events: We always need help at events! Whether it’s in setting up before the big day, or helping us run open days, outdoor theatre or even the odd wedding.
Collections: Interested in how the museum works? We are always looking for people to help with conservation, archives or object recording.
Education: We run education programmes for all ages and are always looking for help facilitating sessions.
Naturalism: Are you very interested in the natural world? Perhaps you will be able to help us understand our own natural world better and help us spread the message to our visitors!
There is lots of other ways you can help too, whether it be an admin role or a flower arranger!
