Monday 14th August, 11am-2.30pm, Field Studies Centre
Cyanotypes are images that can only be created when the sun shines! During this workshop with Artist-in-Residence Sophie Hacker, if we are blessed with blue skies you will make a design using natural shapes from the gardens using the cyanotype technique, which involves laying an object on specially coated paper before exposing to light. Please note this is weather dependent – so if the clouds appear instead, you will be making natural collages with dried and pressed flowers that will be provided.
All materials and refreshments included. These workshops are geared towards adults, beginners welcome, no previous experience required, it is a fun exploration of nature and creativity. Each workshop includes admission to the gardens and we will be heading out into the grounds, so please wear appropriate footwear, and an old shirt or apron. Please bring a packed lunch or head to our café to purchase our delicious food and drink.
Ticket price: £35 per person, includes all materials and refreshments
