Spend the day with our education team discovering the art of Edward Wilson- the official artist on Captain Scott’s expedition to Antarctica. Create your own artwork inspired by the penguins and albatrosses in our collection and achieve your Arts Award Discover certificate!
For ages 8-14

This day will be led by our Learning Manager and a member of the Learning team. Learning staff have enhanced DBS certificates and the Learning Manager has an Outdoor First Aid qualification.
All activities will take place within the Museum, Field Studies Centre and grounds. A consent form will be emailed in advance which must be completed and returned in advance of the day.
Lunch and snacks not included- please bring a packed lunch and a water bottle.
Parents and carers are invited to come from 2.30pm onwards to see the children’s artwork and hear about their day. Hot and cold drinks and biscuits will be provided!
