Learn how to identify what can be seen from land and at sea around the UK and European seas. Become a Citizen Scientist, we’ll show you how to report your sightings for conservation or consider becoming a MARINElife volunteer ship-based surveyor in your spare time!

Join MARINElife and Gilbert White’s House at their training day to learn how to observe and identify whales, dolphins, and seabirds together with data recording methods used for scientific research.

Cancellations

  • If you cancel at least 20 working days (Monday to Friday) or more before the course is due to start, the fee paid less a £10 per person administration charge will be refunded.
  • If you cancel less than 20 working days (Mon to Friday) before the workshop is due to start you will not be entitled to a refund.
  • No refund will be made for non-attendance on the workshop.
  • All refunds are solely at the discretion of MARINElife.

**If circumstances arise which result in the need for MARINElife to cancel a workshop, due to an unforeseen occurrence or act of God. A full refund will be made. When this is the case MARINElife shall assume no liability.
